17:15 katanya: "Tuhan, kasihanilah anakku.

Mathew (Matius) 8:1-17
MATHEW 8:1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.
8:2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
8:3 Then Jesus put out [His] hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
8:4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
8:5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,
8:6 saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented."
8:7 And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
8:8 The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
8:9 "For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this [one], `Go,' and he goes; and to another, `Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, `Do this,' and he does [it]."
8:10 When Jesus heard [it], He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!
8:11 "And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
8:12 "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, [so] let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.
8:14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.
8:15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.
8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demonpossessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
8:17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities And bore [our] sicknesses."

LUKE 8:22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side of the lake." And they launched out.
8:23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling [with water], and were in jeopardy.
8:24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm.
8:25 But He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, "Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!"
8:26 Then they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
8:27 And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs.
8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!"
8:29 For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness.
8:30 Jesus asked him, saying, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion," because many demons had entered him.
8:31 And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss.
8:32 Now a herd of many swine was feeding there on the mountain. So they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them.
8:33 Then the demons went out of the man and entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the lake and drowned.
8:34 When those who fed [them] saw what had happened, they fled and told [it] in the city and in the country.
8:35 Then they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
8:36 They also who had seen [it] told them by what means he who had been demonpossessed was healed.
8:37 Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.
8:38 Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,
8:39 "Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
8:40 So it was, when Jesus returned, that the multitude welcomed Him, for they were all waiting for Him.
8:41 And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him to come to his house,
8:42 for he had an only daughter about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as He went, the multitudes thronged Him.
8:43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,
8:44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
8:45 And Jesus said, "Who touched Me?" When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, "Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, `Who touched Me?'"
8:46 But Jesus said, "Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me."
8:47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
8:48 And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace."
8:49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's [house], saying to him, "Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher."
8:50 But when Jesus heard [it], He answered him, saying, "Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well."
8:51 When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl.
8:52 Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, "Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping."
8:53 And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.
8:54 But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Little girl, arise."
8:55 Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given [something] to eat.
8:56 And her parents were astonished, but He charged them to tell no one what had happened.

8:24 Maka datanglah murid-murid-Nya membangunkan Dia, katanya: "Guru, Guru, kita binasa!"
8:40 Ketika Yesus kembali, orang banyak menyambut Dia sebab mereka semua menanti-nantikan Dia.

Have Faith!
HEBREW 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a [good] testimony.
11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
11:9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as [in] a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;
11:10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.
11:11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
11:12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born [as many] as the stars of the sky in multitudeinnumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced [them] and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
11:14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.
11:15 And truly if they had called to mind that [country] from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return.
11:16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly [country]. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten [son],
11:18 of whom it was said, "In Isaac your seed shall be called,"
11:19 concluding that God [was] able to raise [him] up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.
11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, [leaning] on the top of his staff.
11:22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.
11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw [he was] a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command.
11:24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
11:25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,
11:26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
11:28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
11:29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry [land, whereas] the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.
11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.
11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
11:32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also [of] David and Samuel and the prophets:
11:33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
11:34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again. And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
11:36 Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.
11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented
11:38 of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, [in] dens and caves of the earth.
11:39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise,
11:40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a [good] testimony.
